Heute startet in Heidelberg das dreitägige Symposium “Free Peltier”

Heidelberg/Germany: 3 day symposium “Free Peltier – Leonard Peltier and the struggles of Native Americans” starts tonight at 6pm at the German -.American – Institut, Sofienstr. 12, Heidelberg and lasts on Sunday, Oct. 9th. We got greeting messages from all over the world, also by Leonard Peltier. Guests are coming from Switzerland, United States, Canada and Germany. On Staurday and Sunday will be talking: Mitch Walking Elk – Cheyenne-Arapaho, Jeneda and Clayson Benally – Diné, Frederic Cedar Face – Lakota (via Skype), Michael Friedman – Canada, Monika Seiller and Claus Biegert (German journalists and activists), Dr. Mike Schiffmann and Dr. Mike Koch (German activists and authors of the new book “One life for freedom – Leonard Peltier and the indigenous resistance”) and may be some more.
You can send your solidarity adress to  lpsgrheinmain@aol.com. That shows worlwide solidarity and also would be included in the symposium and ther documentary of the symposium.
