German: Wir haben nun diese Seite eingerichtet, damit online auch über die unregelmäßigen Blogs hinaus jederzeit der aktualisierte Spendenstand eingesehen werden kann.
Liebe Freund*innen der European Alliance, der ehemaligen “Europe for Peltier Coalition”, der Mahnwachen für Leonard und der Teilnehmer*innen unserer Reisen in das indigene Amerika
Nachdem wir nach der Ankündigung von Peltiers Haftentlassung spontan zahlreiche Spenden mit dem Verwendungszweck “Leonard Home” erhielten, haben wir zu diesem Zweck in Absprache mit Leonard auch offiziell hierzu im Rahmen einer Spendenaktion aufgerufen. Bevor wir nun überlegen, wie wir Leonard diese Spenden, die vor allem für medizinische Zwecke sowie sonstige dringende Bedarfe gedacht sind, zukommen lassen (auch hierüber sprechen wir mit ihm regelmäßig) , fragen wir auch nochmal bei Euch an, ob ihr euch an unserer Spendenaktion für Leonard beteiligen wollt. Die Spenden kommen zu 100% Leonard zugute. In unserem Telefonat mit ihm am 30.3. haben wir gemeinsam vereinbart, dass wir die Spenden treuhänderisch bis zur Übergabe verwalten. Aktuell haben wir bereits 12000 € transferiert. Spendenbelege können wir als gemeinnützige Organisation ausstellen. Üblicherweise versenden wir diese dann Anfang 2026. Wichtig: Bitte Postadresse bei Überweisungen angeben oder uns per Email zusenden.

Following the announcement of Peltier’s release from prison, we spontaneously received numerous donations for the purpose of “Leonard Home” and, in consultation with Leonard, we have also officially called for donations for this purpose as part of a fundraising campaign. Before we now consider how we can send Leonard these donations, which are primarily intended for medical purposes and other urgent needs (we also talk to him regularly about this), we are also asking you again whether you would like to take part in our fundraising campaign for Leonard. 100% of the donations will go to Leonard. In our telephone conversation with him on 30 March, we agreed that we would hold the donations in trust until they are handed over. Currently we have already transferred 12,000 €. As a non-profit organisation, we can issue donation receipts. We usually send these out at the beginning of 2026. Important: Please include your postal address when transferring money or send it to us by email.

In seguito all’annuncio della scarcerazione di Peltier, abbiamo ricevuto spontaneamente numerose donazioni a favore di “Leonard Home” e, in accordo con Leonard, abbiamo anche chiesto ufficialmente donazioni a questo scopo nell’ambito di una campagna di raccolta fondi. Prima di pensare a come inviare a Leonard queste donazioni, che sono destinate principalmente a scopi medici e ad altre necessità urgenti (ne parliamo regolarmente con lui), vorremmo chiedervi nuovamente se volete partecipare alla nostra campagna di raccolta fondi per Leonard. Il 100% delle donazioni sarà destinato a Leonard. Nell conversazione telefonica con lui, il 30 marzo, abbiamo concordato che avremmo tenuto le donazioni in custodia fiduciaria fino alla loro consegna. Al momento abbiamo già effettuato un bonifico di 12.000 €. In quanto organizzazione senza scopo di lucro, possiamo rilasciare ricevute di donazione. Di solito le inviamo all’inizio dell’anno 2026. Importante: si prega di includere il proprio indirizzo postale quando si effettua il trasferimento di denaro o di inviarlo via e-mail.
