Jaja, wir wissen – Freiheit ist in diesem Falle wegen des folgenden Hausarrests relativ. Doch für Leonard ist dies nach 49 Jahren und 12 Tagen ein Schritt in eine neue Welt. Heute, um 9 Uhr Eastern Time USA/15 Uhr MEZ öffneten sich die Pforten der lebenden Hölle des USP Coleman 1 in Florida. Welcome outside the American Gulag, brother. So wie es unseres Wissens nun aussieht, wird Leonard zu einem Hotel zwecks eines medizinischen Check-Ups gefahren. Und sollten die Witterungsbedingungen es erlauben fährt er danach zum Flughafen, um von dort in Begleitung nach Nord Dakota zu fliegen. Wir sollten dabei immer denken, dass Leonard nahezu erblindet ist. Nun wünschen wir ihm die Kraft der Sonne, des Windes, die Wärme ihn liebender Menschen, damit er gut in der Turtle Mountain Reservation ankommt. Welcome Home.
